Hunters & Collectors is a dynamic new donor campaign directly supporting the Mosman Art Collection, home to some of Australia’s most treasured Australian Impressionist and contemporary artworks by Grace Cossington-Smith, Margaret Preston, Ethel Carrick Fox, Arthur Streeton, John Coburn, Tracey Moffatt, Adam Cullen and many more.
Established in 1945 the collection includes the much-loved Balnaves Gift and Mosman Art Prize. Housed in new state-of-the-art storage facility, this significant public collection of over 800 works is valued over $5 million.

In November 2019, Mosman Art Gallery held the inaugural Hunters & Collectors Fundraising Valuation Day with all funds raised on the day directly supporting the campaign to care and conserve the Mosman Art Collection.
The day was a great success and supported by Creative Partnerships Australia and Theodore Bruce Auctioneers & Valuers who provided expert advice on over 350 objects including decorative arts, silver and jewellery, Australian and European Art and Chinese, Japanese and Asian decorative arts.
