A bunch of singers have got together and are putting on a concert at Mosman Art Gallery on Sunday 6 March from 5pm to support two charities, Women’s Community Shelters and CanToo.

Linda Peach, Natalie Gooneratne, Paul Myatt and guests will be performing with one of Sydney’s finest pianists and accompanists, Jo Allan. They will be performing beautiful works by such composers as Handel, Mozart and Vaughan Williams. For all those cat lovers, Linda and Natalie will feature Rossini’s wonderful “Cat Duet’ and Paul will show off playing and singing an old favourite from the Pirates of Penzance, “Modern Major General”.

At just $20 (plus booking fee) this concert will be a fun evening of music. Proceeds of the concert will be distributed to two extremely hard working wonderful charities, Women’s Community Shelters (www.womenscommunityshelters.org.au ) who provide short term emergency accommodation and support in a safe environment to enable homeless women to rebuild self-esteem and achieve control and fulfillment of their lives; and CanToo (cantoo.org.au) which raises money for Cancer Researchers and has funded over $15 million in research over the last 10 years.  Forte School of Music (www.fortemusic.com.au) is a proud supporter of the concert.
