Suzanne Alexander’s recent series of paintings, Harbour Remnants, explores the historical face of Sydney Harbour and the remnants of its life as a working harbour. Join Suzanne Alexander on a Sydney Ferries discovery tour of enigmatic harbour sites which capture the changing nature of Sydney’s maritime heritage, and serve as the inspiration for Harbour Remnants.

Explore Ballast Point, the former industrial site which has been transformed into an award winning public park by landscape architect McGregor Coxal. Take in the breathtaking vistas of Sydney Harbour and the facinating industrial landscape, as you enjoy lunch on Cockatoo Island, described as the ‘jewel in the crown of Sydney Harbour‘.

  • Please ensure you purchase a MyMulti transport ticket, a $2.50 Pensioner Excursion Ticket (PET) or other relevent public transport ticket ahead of time
  • Transport is by Sydney Ferries
  • A juice and snack for morning tea will be provided
  • Lunch can be purchased from one of the cafes on Cockatoo Island. Alternatively, you may choose to bring a small picnic
